Beautiful murals above today’s wedding at the historic Riddle’s Court. I love that Victorian sociologist and biologist, Patrick Geddes, who commissioned Thomas Bonner to paint these murals in 1897, is quoted for saying “by leaves we live”. A beautiful testimony in deference to our utter reliance on the natural world🌿

These woods have a special place in my heart as I’ve walked them for over twenty years. Today, a wonderful couple exchanged vows in this beautiful, peaceful place between earth and sky, and by trees and water.

First guest at today’s wedding … this sweet peacock butterfly found it’s way into the Biscuit Factory just in time to bless Kate and Andrew’s ceremony 🦋
